Category with Side bar

The category page has two options of displaying the side bar in it.

1. Side bar to a specific category
2. Side bar to all the categories

A.Side bar to a specific category (Demo Category Link)

Category Page with Left side bar

To enable this side bar in category page, select the Template Layout file of that category as "_Category2Column.html" as highlighted in the screenshot below.

 

B.Side bar to all categories

Step 1: click "Design"

 

Step 2: Choose "Template Files" under the tab "More"

 

Step 3: Now you will see a full list of your template files. Open the file "_Category2Column.html" by clicking on the Action wheel and select edit.

 

Step 4: Copy the entire code of the layout file "_Category2Column.html" & Paste it in the common category layout file "category.html".

 

Step 5: Finally "Save" it to apply changes.
